Returns is an important aspect of the supply chain management activity. Cargo that does not arrive in terms of quality/quantity as per consignee requirements, is needed to be sent back to their supplier.
This process which may be called Reverse Logistics, has a different handling procedure in terms of:
- The supplier to provide approval for the cargo to be returned to him
- Documentation
- Handling process
- Repacking to be handled at consignee / related premises
As business rules and contracts have become very stringent, reverse logistics has taken importance over the last few years. We and our network associates have the experience of handling such shipments and provide the shipper and consignee with economically viable options. All required activities in this process are taken care off by us and our counterparts to make this process effortless for the supplier and consignee.
